I want to seriously discuss the prospects of an EN office right now, since it seems like the time loops have mostly died down and there's nothing else really going on right now.

Assuming that HoloEN3 debuts sometime this year and is primarily NA, and Japan isn't fully open for travel within the next 6 months which is a valid concern, I feel like an EN Office is worth real consideration. Texas would be the ideal location for this as well, especially if you had the NA streamers move closer, which has been suggested as a possibility for what has been happening already within Myth.

Even if Japan does eventually open up, suggesting that all ENs fly to Japan every time they have to make a 3D appearance is untenable if it becomes at all a frequent occurrence, otherwise EN will forever be relegated to one 3D a year or forced to rely on Kanaeru style stuff for everything.

Realistically, EN staff will need to be expanded for EN Hologra which we know is in the works and other 3D events or main channel promotional content. It will always be easier for EN Vtubers to travel to America for recording this stuff even independent of Japanese travel restrictions, easier for them to arrange a place for them to stay while they're visiting, and the costs can be reduced compared to doing it in Japan anyway due to how expensive shit can get in Tokyo.

Guys, I have actually given this some thought before and this further confirms what I suspected: VERSEn is not a vtubing agency. I watched the promotional short that's on the channel, I looked at the website, I read the channel about page, and it all points to VERSEn being a poorly defined multimedia experience kind of deal where the vtubers are currently the most prominent element because it's absolutely fucking cheap to produce compared to manga, anime, LNs and so on. The vtubers are not the point, they're just an aspect of marketing for the VERSEn brand itself, but since Sony is so lazy to do anything with the VERSEn IP the vtubing part has gotten out of hand with 10000x the volume of content compared to whatever else has been or was planned. All the non-vtubing material centers around that sixth character. She's the viewpoint character of the VERSEn narrative but it's a dumb move since there's still fuck all material actually featuring her.
