The simplest way is just to fiddle with game settings, since some games have extra shit like motion blur and camera head-bobbing that can trigger or worsen motion sickness. Sometimes this isn't enough (Minecraft and most FPS are the main culprits). Some games like Elden Ring have really dynamic cameras that can also trigger motion sickness, so more static cameras similar to Monster Hunter games are better for Oga.

Medicating can be an option, but the side effects like drowsiness can fuck up his ability to stream or even function outside of streams.

The only JP members that are kouhai for EN is Gen 6. If you're asking if everyone that came before Myth inclined then sorta? HoloEN did bring new people to Hololive, but the only thing that grew significantly was their subs. Those were clipwatchers, which explains why the early episode views were bloated and didn't transfer to actual viewers. From the second episode on, they only put the teaser and announcement on the Starstv and Stars talents Twitter, then took premiere off. Now it's up to algorithm and actual Stars fans to discover.
It's arguably better this way, except they still need to promote it better and make sure it translates to actual viewer/subs. One way is to plug the StarColle hashtag to your streams, which Miyabi does, and his viewerships is quite noticably inclining.
