Why do they even have auditions if they hire everyone through nepotism?

>> No.9959618

do u just find out how the entertainment industry works or something my friend. everything is shady backroom handshakes and people helping along their friends and family and their friends friends and their friends family to an easy life. thats how it has always been and thats how it will always be simple as

>> No.9959887

Even if you assume nepotism, if they have the resources to process auditions they are just wasting out on potential opportunity not to do so. Someone CAN be good enough to override a potential rec.
>>9959618
To varying extents a ton of specialized labor is like this. Even in my field (civil engineering in general). where you can prove your competency at face value, people still get in through recs just as much as hiring, since vetting a rando is a PIA.

How old are you? Have you worked in a corporate setting before? If not, go get a job and that should clear things up.

how long are you going to chant a word whose meaning you don't know?
>one person gets a job via recommendation from an aquaintance
>retardchama screaming nepotism nonstop forever
>but nepotism has nothing to do with having someone who can validate that you are qualified, and everything to do with getting a job entirely because the person in charge is related to you and says you get the job

>> No.9960158

People here don't even know ehat the word nepotism means. Anyway, it's 1/5, this is still an absolutely retarded post even if you consider that to be nepotism.

EN1, Ame was scouted, rest were from Auditions
EN2, Bael, and Fauna, Mumei were scouted. Kronii's from the audition, Sana was Ina's suggestion.

Gura wasn't scouted instead of Ame?

Stop pretending to be dumb.
If the Nepotism theory held any water, Milky would have been in Hololive for months now.

I don't know anon, ask them.

>> No.9960976

Even those who are scouted likely had to audition. If you had a large pool of candidates and ended up with a ton with similar qualifications, why wouldn't you choose one who had a current stellar employee vouching for them?

>> No.9961418

>>9960498
If you mean that Gura wasn't scouted, then yes, she wasn't. Someone on her chat had to tell her Hololive was doing EN1 auditions, she of course, checked it out for a few mins. On stream by the way.

>> No.9961929

Who knows, maybe they thought Gura was too big for Holo, and when Gura applied, she got immediately accepted, Hololive expected atleast above Indonesian views by the way, so probably thought they couldn't provide benefits for someone that big.

Well, even the Girls themselves never expected that much, and Ame literally had a goal of 100k subs on her debut

so that they don't make it too obvious. also just in case they're missing extremely good talents that worth more than what insiders paid for.

The real question is why do they take a year between releasing a new gens if they're going to do nepotistic hires?

At the very least nepotism should reduce the time between it takes to debut new gens
