The Taiwan yabe would have happened in all timelines instead of coco someone else would have taken the fall for another reason. The cn branch used coco as scrape goat in order to increase the chinese branch importance. So the yabe would still happend but another holo would have to take the fall. For example when gura played the muscle game and it had Taiwan on it there a timeline where she the one who got chinks.

tbdesu hololive as a whole would've been worse off trying to deal with China and bilibili, especially with them going full retard in recent months in regards to moralfaggotry. People think that cover management is restrictive now, just imagine how bad it would be with fucking bilibili breathing down their necks, and if the shit that happened with Honkai Impact 3 is any indication of anything, the Taiwan yab in this timeline may have been the least destructive version of it.

For all intents and purposes, this timeline was most likely the Good Ending. Coco graduated sure, but it was definitely on a good note for both her roommate and the company as a whole. For all we could know, Coco graduating so soon might just be a fixed point in the timeline that just couldn't be prevented. You'd think we'd ever get the kino send off of her we got with China in any sort of control? Not saying the current timeline was perfect but it just may have been the best possible outcome.

I won't lie and say that it sucks that we won't ever be getting any sort of hololive collabs in any chinese gachas but honestly it might be for the best
