For newfriends and fa/tg/uys: this is a Chronicles of Darkness (CofD) homebrew being played by the fabulous ladies of Hololive English, running under the Hunter: the Vigil module. As most of the players are new to the world of tabletop RPGs, this campaign is being played as more of learning experience, with fun and entertainment the primary goals.

In a previous member stream she said she doesn't want to railroad them too hard, but it may be necessary. Kiara is most certainly the straight man of the party, but she needs to step up to a leader position and keep them from meandering off. Ina would be a good support for Kiara, but Gura and Ame are just directionless as all hell. It doesn't help that the community shits on Kiara for being the best RP'er of the bunch.

Due to her figure, the only fitting garb will be something subdued and turbo-conservative, not even showing her neck or ankles. It will chaff and itch and restrict due to her having never worn anything like it.

As the least sexually appealing of the bunch, she will be given the lewdest, most revealing cocktail dress one can think of (Calli needs to go to great lengths to make Ina feel uncomfortable again). It will be so alluring that Yuul will receive a bonus to all social rolls while wearing it.

Honestly prefer pic related for Watoto's official design. Amelia clearly envisioned him as a male semi-self-insert: blue-collar, working class type, rough around the edges, isn't afraid to get down and dirty. A hard life has made his age somewhat indeterminable, which is a pretty common factor among the downtrodden. The goblin / monocle / mustache is all vtuber-related flavor. For what looks like a massive joke character, Watoto is surprisingly well-rounded. If only Amelia made better use of his merits and mental skills, he'd easily be a party MVP.

Probably the optimal situation, also a beneficial compromise: have the most ardent members of the Council apply to become Hunters of the Homestead Bar, if they enjoy the experience enough, Fauna can try her hand at GM'ing with Calli as a player, but also to guide her a little if she stumbles a bit. If Fauna is insistent on DnD she might be in for a challenge, as Calli lacks experience in that setting.

Vshoujo's mistake was seeking out whoever had the biggest following and reputation, assuming he would be the best. Several small time GMs would undoubtedly jump at the opportunity to host a game for vtubers, and in front of an audience of 20K live viewers, I bet they would take the extra steps to make sure the campaign was stellar.

Very few DMs can handle 8+ players at the table, and Calli, for all her talent, is most certainly not one of them. On the flipside, guest speakers coming in to voice specific NPCs to add more flavor to the dialogue would be pretty easy to implement. Lots of the hologirls sit in the chat anyway, it wouldn't be hard to give them a character sheet and have them interact with the party for a bit.

for the quickest take on the setting. There are magic users in the WoD setting, but they're nothing like DnD types. Using the term mage to describe them doesn't do them justice. For the most part though, Hunters are regular mooks and 9to5 wagies who ran afoul of the supernatural, and must now battle against the forces of darkness.

I've always played other systems instead of D&D, so I don't have an opinion on which would be better by itself.
But I've seen enough debates to know that 3e vs 4e vs 5e is a very divise issue now that 5e has taken over, so since I like fa/tg/uys arguing about their systems and seeing something unusual, 4e or 3e sounds more interesting than 5e.

Definitely a high point of the session. New players have a hard time making progress, as a good GM would try suppress and thwart the party if they failed to solve their problems in a creative manner. So far the Myth have been progressing relatively well, mainly due to all of them going full MacGyver on the crafting skill. The thorn whistle is a nice trinket, but the sniper rifle is the real treasure from that adventure. We don't yet know what it does, but Tiara being able to fight at both close and long range now is going to make standard battles a breeze. Calli will have to be a little creative if there's any combat, otherwise Tiara is just going to 360noscope everything before it gets close.

A rather peculiar thing though: a lot of Tiara's fan art portrays her with a long rifle, yet all of it was drawn BEFORE she acquired Sniff's rifle.

That's because people are retarded. Edition wars should always be ignored and anyone engaging in them is a child. There are obviously times when discussing which system is better is required, but that's more when the question is "Which system is better for X" where "X" is a campaign style, group, or other qualifier. Hell, even if I like 4e, I wouldn't propose it for a livestream game.
Maybe something like Call of Cthulhu or more rulelight games focused on the characters rather than having a tactical maps and fights every half an hour.

I really like more the way JP bros handle their virtual tabletops, as you can make whole visual novel type scene, rather than the classic grid that we always use.

I don't think any of the girls need to be convinced to keep this going, they all love it. Session 3 got delayed first for Ame's vacation, then for Calli's vacation. It flopped because Calli tried to do everything on a shitty laptop while still on vacation. This is all while Myth was apparently doing a lot of behind the scenes stuff with COVER unrelated to the TTRPG and Council debuts on the horizon, along with their one year anniversary being on the doorstep which we all know took a lot of prep. Mythbreakers is fun, but it's definitely time consuming to do and had to go on the back burner for the last month with everything else going on.

Well one I don't have a twitter account, and two I've wrestled with the choice and ultimately decided against it. As much as I'm here to simply help, I don't want to backseat them. Back during the character creation stream, some big WoD nerd made a massive post regarding their character sheets and merits. He made a great post, and he stated explicitly it was just there as help if wanted, but a good chunk of the simps accused him of shamelessly backseating.

These cards are for anyone who wants to keep track of certain, difficult to acquire info on the fly. If someone wants to show it to the girls I won't stop them. I've made the decision to not, despite my misgivings.

As mentioned before, the damage received was based on my best approximations, since Calli never went over damage mechanics until the scuffed session.

I really feel we should cover more TTRPG or Tabletop games in here.
Even boardgames.
I notice that with Fubuki and her TTRPG's, she has NO problem wandering outside the Holoworld, so we get stuff like odd channels only posted in japanese which host Fubuki RPG content....in japanese.
....I'd feel Vshojo DnD wouldn't belong here because their way of playing has been really offset from normal RPG's...i mean, a session where everyone goes in and has sex with NPC's is just....well, i have things other than TTRPG to entertain myself with when it comes to getting off.
OmeSis used to do TableTop games, but they have gotten sucked into VR all the time instead

If there was a Vtuber TTRPG general, I don't think it should exclude any Vtubers based on how someone likes to play or what someone considers to be "normal" RPGs.

That said, I'd rather have a Hololive TTRPG thread to learn more about FBK's and other JP's TTRPG sessions. I know they exist, but I can't into moonrunes...

Whoever would be the most invested in the project. I'm gonna whack sperg nest here, but I'd like to have Kiara along. She makes a good straight man. Too many directionless idiots forces the DM to get railroady, which can harm the overall experience. Kiara's German blood compels her to focus on the task at hand and get shit done. Of the Huntermyth group, she has performed the best overall.
