It's shit. The writing is absolutely awful, it doesn't even matter how good or bad each girl is at acting. It was dead before they even recorded their lines. And they've had one collab together, where they didn't really mesh well. So they don't even give off the vibe that they're friends.

I disagree, I think the scenarios and art is perfectly fine but it really is the voice acting from Ina and Gura that makes everything feel incredibly awkward. They seem like they don't really know how to act for certain lines and it's clear they're just kinda reading off a script the whole time. There's just no energy coming from those two at all.

They have less views than Hologra but the number of comments is about the same if not higher (UMISEA part 1 has 670k views and 4k comments, meanwhile the recent Hologra that has a Polka thumbnail has 900k views and 2.7k comments).
I always thought it was weird how Hologra got like 700k+ views shortly after the episode launched, I mean animations are bound to be popular but there's something off, is there bots inflating numbers or something?

It's only been two days for the UMISEA videos in comparison to Hologra videos that have been out for longer. The 1st UMISEA video is on track to surpass Rushia's recent Hologra video in the near future. There is more viewer engagement for the UMISEA videos because they are a new format and bring in a new crowd that is known for more engagement. Also shorter videos get more views because they are easier to digest (e.g. HoloGra videos are about half of the length of UMISEA videos so far). In addition, UMISEA is doing better than most recent non-HoloGra videos in that channel.
Spending a couple of minutes to look at the catalog of videos on the hololive page makes all of this too obvious for even someone with a small capability in critical thinking.

Aqua has the reputation of being a chink shill among the eigos. Gura is incompatible with nihongos. Marine and Ina both have fanbases that are drawn more towards solo talking streams since Marine falls completely into the horny act and Ina quietly stands in the corner waiting to go home during collabs. This also reeks of management intervention and those faggots aren't popular with anyone.
