This, she is a huge contrast fr how she looks and is pitched to be vs how she is.

In theory it should not matter if she does not match her more religiously but in practice she seems insecure about the comparison (that or management is) so tries to be wild and zany but does it in a reserved way still, because that seems to just not he her personality type so it feels acted. She is tame if not fake like a PG cartoon character.

Part of the issue is her theme just makes everyone assume she has to be a certain way, in combination with her look. "Time" isn't a personality, "space" isn't a personality, "civilization" isn't a personality, "nature/natural" makes you think of a bohemian or hippie type and that sort-of fits fauna's calm nature so not a lot of complaints. "Chaos/chaotic" however has the strongest connotation of what the personality should be. It is so easy to go >embodiment of chaos >isn't chaotic at all because we can easily imagine what that should look like - something around the Pekora or Ame type feel. Not true for the other aspects. So basically they should have thought more carefully about who they picked to play the chaos role and seem to not have really. Then again hiring made some questionable moves all around in EN2 so that is just part of the overall feeling of them not being the bottled lightning of EN1. At the very least Ame has a really distinct personality out of Myth despite not having some super strong ability, focus or background like the others. EN2 feels like Ame variants with bland / inoffensive personalities hence none of the gremlin charm.

Another nitpick is the aspect lore makes most tangible sense to us for fauna and chaos, if you think of them like elementals or pagan deities. We have some vague frame of reference in mind and fauna is the only one who sounds like she "should" exist and look the way she does if you proposed mythological deities as a theme.

Nobody has a frame of reference for what a time god "should" look like, or space. Civilization people might have something in mind but it certainly is not what mumei looks like or acts like at all. Chaos is like, the color scheme and description of a punk-looking, fiery maybe almost demonic themed girl does fit what we would maybe speculate. The rat has nothing to do with much besides connivery (which is not chaos) and with the key on her necklace vs peko's padlock necklace... Made it look very much like the idea is she is an ogey rrat and that actually is clever because rrats are the real source of chaos in Holo discussion, so we expected a very connected meta-y type girl. She isn't. She feels more distant from us than any other EN, and more just fucking clueless and witless with no spicy commentary or bants about Holo whatsoever. Completely gutless, wimpy, unamusing, un-spicy. I won't go so far to as to say "fuck you baelz you fucking suck" so much as "fuck you management you were idiots to hire that girl for that model and theme" - she would have been fine as any other council mdoel besides the rrat. It would have taken someone very different from her to knock that character design and theme out the park and Cover fucking failed to pick one out of all their thousands of applicants.
