What is drawlet? drawing tablet? I suggest a cheap one. Mine is xp pen star v03. been using it for almost years and still 100% good despite how many times i spill stuff in it. Picrel is what i just drew moment ago with it
If you want a guide, i suggest invest at least 1 month in learning to control your pen(cil) and start drawing simple stuff like apples. there are a lot of basic stuff that can be found in most beginer guides in internet.
After you learn the basic of drawing, search for anatomy guide, doing figure drawing to practice and apply your knowledge every day. Best guide so far is "Anatomy for sculptor". You can combine with some guides posted by OP to find most efficient way of drawing

yes, they also place too much emphasis on gitting gud by doing soul-draining studies. never forget that there are many professional artists out there who never do studies, and got good simply by trying to make the best portfolio-level art they could, immediately.
this doesn't mean you shouldn't read the books they recommed though. loomis can work, even if drawing old man faces is the last thing you want to do
you should download any basic perspective book, along with anatomy for sculptors
if you're serious about rendering and colours, download colour and light by james gurney too
