It's pretty obvious Cover expected more "hype" for the new talents and now they're sending their most popular talent to "accidental" collabs (Mario Kart with Bael, Minecraft) to increase the popularity of HoloCouncil.

Gura is being allowed to break the collab ban to hype up gen2, but it's too cynical and half assed. They should just scrap the collab ban altogether and let the en holos fuck around freely. After all, Hololive JP was built on inter-gen collab diversity.
