Hololive is clearly courting the Korean market, they have for a while now, and they already announced a third ID market.
It makes me wonder if it would be a better idea to just rebrand them as the "Asia" branch, that way they can get some Korean, Flips, and Taiwanese chubas in there as well, all with a strong English for more flexibility.
At the end of the day though, why the fuck are they wasting time with more indogs and other Asian though when there is very little money there, especially when EN2 already proved to be very profitable within a couple of weeks? I mean, Kronii made almost 50k just with her SC opening and I have to believe Gura's promotion with Taco Bell was very profitable with many other opportunities in the horizon as chubas become more mainstream in the west.
Shouldn't they be trying to just get as many quality English chubas as they can, before Niji and other agencies get them instead, thats where the money seems to be right now.

I agree that there's a misunderstanding of what vtubing is among russians, hence their indie scene is awful. Those viewers who are used to Holo/Niji usually cringe at russian indie vtubers, but saying that russians are "extremely poor" is a stretch lmfao. There’s definitely a market for HoloES but there’s two problems. First of all, spics are dirt poor. You’d get like at least 2k average live viewers but I doubt you’d get any more supachats than anyone in HoloEN, let alone JP. Another problem is Western women are very competitive. You’d probably have to limit the number of actual LatAm chuubas and instead settle for the few Japanese women who speak Spanish. Maybe one or two actual spics per gen, and preferably from the same country. Spics would lap it up either way. They're suckers for any sort of representation from other cultures, it’s just a shame American leftists always shut them down with “muh cultural appropriation” like they did with Mario Odyssey and Speedy Gonzales. I don’t think that’d be a problem for Hololive though
Just make it a small gen of like three girls tops, hire no more than two genuine spic women, double check that none of them are Chicanos, and don’t spend too much money on getting them set up
