I did some looking into this actually, the upshot is that cover can't just call up a few factories in the states and ask if they can produce hololive merch. If they do that they'll get fucked by taxes and customs. Of they want to set up a production line stateside they'll need to set up a proper branch here, that means getting an office, HR personnel, tax registration, the whole shebang, and that's alot of money to throw into the hole just to allow them to shop around and set up production in the states.

I am always amused by forceschizo since the shit he peddles is the opposite of reality. Niji was the ones officially pushing clips, striking community clips and even trying to get react channels to push their crap. When all that didn't work they mostly abandoned it after EN debuted. Propagation of culture is as always, done by the communities.
