Is it actually only older men, millenials and up, that like vtubers and are donating to them?
I'm a zoomer and most of the people my age that know about vtubers think of them as ethots that are scamming males. They straight up hate women.
I've noticed a lot more sexism in gen z.

Well, I can't speak for vtubers in general, but a big demographic for idols has always been older men with disposable income and no kids or partners to spend the money on. So I think it makes sense that Hololive members in particular get a lot of paypigs.
As for the sexism thing, I think sex work is looked down on less in Japan, so there's less of the "I can't just send money to a WHORE" concept too.
