I still believes that vtubing in ID still has so much room to grow. The main reason why it seems to be stagnated is because of the state of the economy, it's been going downhill in the last year or so.
The thing is being a vtuber only limit your income from the fans donation and merch, and it hurt so much by the state of the economy. At least being fleshies could land you an easier sponsorships from corpos.

In the next one or two year is an era of ID vtubing winter because the fucking incompetent govt playing too much politics and forgetting about their fucking jobdesc. In the near term, being a fleshie is a better path.

But when this is all over, whether there will be a Tiananmen Square or another revolution, ID vtubing will take off again.
