Fubuki threw away all her goodwill and popularity in China to support Coco. She was the 2nd most popular Holo, if not the 1st most in China.

Fubuki took the heat off of Towa when she took a break from streaming because idolfags lost their shit when they heard a male voice on Towa's stream.
She made a parody press conference where she revealed she had a male partner, which tilted the idolfags and turned them on her for a moment.
That male partner was her pet cat.

Fubuki collabs with Holostars (mostly Oga) quite often despite said idolfaggotry.
She always tries to promote them in a positive manner to boost their popularity.

When Pekora was having trouble setting up her stream due to her strange software, she started crying and breaking down on stream because she was over 30 minutes late while famous VA Sugita Tomokazu was watching her stream.
Fubuki came in to troubleshoot Pekora's issue and managed to solve it.

In her own streams, she promotes collabs and events from her own members when she finishes her stream to send her viewers their way.

When Aloe graduated, no one was really streaming because of the bad news. Cue Fubuki playing Fall Guys to help fans take their mind off of the drama for just a moment.

She is not my favorite Holo. That honor goes to Aqua because for some reason I like and can relate to a fellow crayon-eating autist.

She's my oshi! Aside from all the stuff she does for Hololive, Fubuki has a great sense of humor (she is known as the queen of memes), incredibly enthusiastic over her interests (her last stream over Twisted Wonderland is super cute!), and is a great conversationalist. Aside from being able to carry the Marine/Shion stream, her zatsudans are easily some of my favorite content.
FBK's ASMR streams are also pretty hot, gives me something to look forward to at the end of the month.

Even what you say, I can only agree because you said "some" instead of "all". If someone is doing kind actions because of their own sense of morals, that doesn't make them selfish. They're just living the way they believe is best. That's just "living." It sounds like you are saying if someone lives a life they believe to be kindness, then they're being selfish. You're defining kindness as being inherently selfish. Which is what I take umbrage with.
There are certainly people who act kind in order to further some selfish desire. But you can usually tell the person is expecting something in return. In this case, we're talking about Fubuki who sacrificed her own popularity in China to stick up for someone. I just can't see something like that or anything else the others have mentioned being anything other than kindness.
Even if you want to define kindness as inherently selfish, the two above are equating this type of "selfishness" as being on the same level as the other type. It's a long, repeated history of being kind while also being the face of Hololive. Again and again she stood by her kindness even when it wasn't always beneficial to do so. Willing to give up a ton of income without public complaint, willing to torpedo her fanbase to try to raise the Holostars up (arguably a terrible decision, but I respect it), etc, etc. She has a history of stepping up, without stepping out of bounds, even at personal loss to herself.

Fubuki really is a wonderful person.
I love the enthusiasm she has on every stream, she just sounds happy to be working in hololive, you can tell she loves streaming and all the holos.
As a tatsunoko i'll always be eternally grateful for what she did for my oshi, but it's not something new really, she was one of the holos who always sent material for asacoco and was ready to do anything she was asked, i'm pretty sure she's the non-gen 4 who appeared the most on it, she always had Coco's back, but really she has everyone's back, i still remember her trying to defuse the situation when Towa had her yab too.
Also her void stream might just be one of the best streams i ever watched.

I think the "friend" thing also comes from her wanting to keep a clear distinction between love as a fan (family, if you really insist) and love as a significant other. Let's be honest, someone throwing supacha isn't in a situation to be able to be someone's real mutual lover, you just aren't able to be close enough. Most (female) streamers just use that ambiguity as a way to get extra money, otherwise it makes no sense not to outright deny it like Fubuki does. Sure you could pretend that playing along might create a closer bond, but I think a bond that's based on truthfulness and real mutual understanding is a lot stronger, healthier and more valuable, even if they are harder to form.

It lets her much more clearly communicate what kind of relationship she wants to establish with her fans, reduces the risk of misunderstandings, and fans don't have to "fight" over their waifu, no matter how real or not it may feel to them.
