EN2 is the safe studio album followup to the breakout EN1 and I think that's what Cover wanted. They took risks with EN1 that paid off so now they're in a position where they're less inclined to take risks. There's no wildcard picks and no real niches being exploited. You could argue Fauna with the ASMR but even then she's shown enough versatility in her content to not be pigeonholed into that role.

EN2 are all extremely competant streamers but I don't see any of them bringing new eyes on the product to a casual audience, like say maybe Calli or Gura did. I don't see them doing anything to stand out against an ever increasing market nor can I really think of a way HOW they would and that's an issue a lot of streamers are facing right now: How do I distinguish myself against a backdrop of people playing the same games, signing the same songs, producing very similar content?

Personally, I think it if there is going to be some new wave of interest it's going to come from streamers similar to Ame and Haachama: Those willing to experiment with the production format and video editing to create unique looking content that visually stands apart by playing with the conventions of the format.

My take; HoloEN are all niche, even with big numebrs I seriously doubt that there are major overlaps between the likes of Ina and Kiara or Mori and anyone else. EN2 has their own niches as well, the only overlap I see is kronii overlap with Gura because of the mainstream design appeal. The rrat knows enough japanese to be their bridge to JP, if she puts in the work and grows as a leader figure organizing collabs and events I could see her becoming my favorite. The rest feel like flops to me, but I hope they find their pace. You are also looking at Myth with rose tinted glasses, Ame is awesome but she gets burnt out quite often and when she does she gets unwatchable, the rapper idol was a cool concept at debut but when a couple of months passed it felt fake and Mori somehow feels less motivated now that when she had her full time job.
