Not really. If anything this could be viewed as a gift. All they have to do is wait a little bit so that the situation continues to gain steam and threatens to boil over, then they terminate Aster while claiming that the delay was because they were conducting an internal investigation. Add in some stuff about having disciplined him for this exact thing before and they come out looking pretty reasonable and it gives them good PR for getting rid of someone bad. Aster's also not one of the big boys like Luca is. They can absolutely take the small financial hit with him in exchange for the good PR they'll get from dumping him. And unlike other terminations, this one will be warranted and someone people WANT to see gone.

It would also benefit them by forcing people like False or Mujin or anyone else who's going to be covering this story into a position where it's difficult to pursue this angle any further. If a news or dramatuber tries to say that Niji did know this was happening and let it continue to happen, they're going to have to be able to back that claim up. This new claim, unlike the current one, they are significantly less likely to be able to back up and will likely have no choice but to stand down from. Alternatively, if they do have that proof then the pendulum swings back and it once again becomes an unwinnable situation for Niji. This also all assumes that they have the foresight to play politics, and not just approach it like a JP corpo full of old men who know nothing about how to handle internet drama, so they'll probably fuck it up.

I watched it. Here is the Not-so quick rundown.

At first he shows a tweet he made that says "There's a reason The podcast lasted only 2 episodes" (A kyo/Aster podcast)
Then he goes on to explain why he deleted that tweet.
He says its because in theory, the issues Quinn has with 'the party involved' (He does not mention names to avoid getting sued, so I'm assuming Aster) does not necessarily confirm the issues somebody else would have with the party involved.
He then explains how he felt petty as fuck tweeting that, and that the reason why he made that tweet was because QUINN WAS GROOMED IN HIS CHILDHOOD (which may explain why he sounds gay as fuck).

Now, obvious speculation is obvious. Quinn was groomed as a child, reacted to Asters posts and felt the same grooming vibes which caused Quinn to lash out with the petty tweet.

Later, about 9-10 minutes in, he mentions being in a bit of a dammed if you do or dont scenario because if he talks about it or not, he'll get seen as defending a predator, spreading more gossip.
Quinn admits that he both heard rumors and SAW HIMSELF 'the party involved' being weird towards women.
He clarifies, nothing criminal that he saw. But the person involved would do the following:

>Put them in positions that would try to make them feel guilty (*sigh* anyone?)
>pounce on newer members that didn't know him.
He didn't want to have this talk but he fucked up by making his tweet.
He then says that what he observed sounds like what he believes an incel would treat women. "It was like trying to watch somebody very bad at interacting with women..." so he distanced himself and stopped the podcast.

He goes on to say "Based on what I saw, I don't wanna interact with them publicly, because they COULD be doing stuff privately" and that quinn was protecting himself pre-emptively. But then says "Was it an issue, I don't know"

He does more wishy washy 'i dont wanna get involved'. But then summarizes his thoughts again saying:
