i'd guess so, yes. the MV was undeniably fucking fire. i'm pretty sure i saw it going viral on animation twitter soon after it got released too and people were going crazy about the high level of production and animation. as far as i remember, even suisei wasn't expecting it to get THIS popular but she absolutely capitalized on it. (also, i distinctively remember anons thinking the song was dope until it started getting too popular.)

Loligami has a bit of a shitposting element to it, the team behind the music is the beloved IOSYS, one of the most well liked doujin circle that got popular because of 2hu, and if I remember it correctly the one behind the animation is someone's who quite prolific during NND's heyday. Overall it's a nice piece to reminisce NND in its heyday.
But yes, the MV is what blew the song up because most people aren't aware of the song before the MV was uploaded, but to be fair there's no full version on YT before the MV was uploaded.

The only thing Loli Kami has is more MV views but not for long. Bibbidiba hit 100M faster and will pass it in a few months. Everything not related to the MV isn't even a comparison. Bibbidiba:

- has 50K copies sold
- has 100M non-MV streams
- is the #10 rank karaoke song (2024) in Japan

Only Tokyo Shandy Rendezvous is comparable to Bibbidiba in terms of overall success if you want to count it as a Vtuber/Vsinger song.
