I can't speak for the OP, but I like Gura the last few months way more than I used to cause it's very obvious she's become way more freespirited than she used to be. I only wish she had some content that she could truly call her own, and I'd actually have her now as one of my faves.

This is where I'm at with her. Her solo streams are extremely comfy and wholesome. always enjoy watching her when she's playing a single player game that I like, and feel bad whenever she obviously wants to keep playing but has to stop to give her voice a break.

But she always makes me cringe in collabs. Constantly talking over everyone, making bad attempts at humor that come off as rude to her senpais/genmates... It's easy to see why people hate her so much if that's their main exposure to her.

Yeah I thought she was cringe during the first week or two but I kept watching as her timeslot was ideal for me and now she's maybe my fav in EN. She's got obvious, glaring flaws here and there, but everyone has flaws and the fact you can see her's from a mile away means you learn to tolerate them a lot faster and the yabs and drama never sneak up on you. I always knew she'd have antis, ever since the beginning, but the fact they were so dedicated was still kind of a surprise - but the fact she overcame and grew thicker skin for the most part has been a really good character arc.

I was never an anti or anything but I've grown to really appreciate Kiara after disliking her for several months after her debut. I never really hated anyone enough to be an anti, but I don't care too much for Mori as a streamer/vtuber. (almost became an anti when she had that bad Gura Cuphead collab, along with the "how many times has Mori fucked up a collab" copy pasta) Heard some of her music when she first debuted, and it kinda filtered me because all the reaper role play and edgy lyricism seemed really cringe. After time I listened to Red, and some of her other songs/covers and have warmed up to her, and think she has her place in her gen and Hololive in general, and respect her music production.
