The case for Anya was they literally keep spoiling for a game that can be beaten in 12 minutes if you have the information available. And they can't help themselves since they're schizophrenic seaniggers trying to appear smart.
The point of the game Anya is playing is finding out how to stop the supernova reset every 15 minutes with applying knowledge from one place to solve the next and so on. People literally spoil the puzzles that would require piecing together info from multiple locations through puzzles or exploration.

Because it's a nonlinear time-loop game where you put little pieces of information together to form a grand solution, there's a fine line of what hints are OK and which are not. "You can press X key to perform Y action" is completely OK. "You missed a hint behind you" is also OK. "Stand inside the little alcove and run out onto the teleporter when the sand pillar is passing over" bypasses at least 2 hours of gameplay and ruins it.
