I was listening to Mori while playing Black Ops 6 with friends and I'm going to say it I think her UMG work is better. All her classic songs still hit and they're iconic for a reason but her old stuff just sounds better. I can see why people didn't like her rapping since she sounds really bratty in her earlier stuff but it's dare I say kakkoi at the time and that's why I love her but her current work is just so much better. You can see her become her more current quality around the time of Unalive but I think around Shinigami Note is where you really notice it. Listen to her old music is a trip down memory lane since I remember when tracks like Off With Their Heads and what a splash that made. Either way I'm so happy I was here to watch it all unfold and I'm very proud of my Mori.

the most notable thing is that she has more lifelike proportions, with a slightly longer face and entire body frame being more correct in head lengths, thicker arms and legs, boobs that aren't two bouncy balls stapled to her chest and stuffed in black plastic wrap, less floating fabric physics on skirt and veil, the spikes on the cape not being a solid static object which ended up clipping through her raised arms whenever she did

Pits/shoulders/chest area in particular was remade: she can now raise her arms and her cape won't form weird black spikes sticking out of her armpits. Armpit/sideboob region is now an actual thing on her model. I think the breasts were enlarged a little, too.
Also there may be a minor buff to her exposed thigh, but I only saw it from some angles.
Her head and face are more well-rounded now (see pic), making her expressions softer and less dopey. But they changed her eye shape in the ^_^ face again similar to her 2.0 changes, making it more dopey/soft
Her hands were clearly remade from scratch, with individual finger movement, which was barely a thing, as she pointed out.

After watching a couple old 3D clips and today's back, it's definitely a case of the old model being absolute dogshit more than anything. Her mouth could quite literally only move by going from :) to :D and was closed half the time she was singing. The spikes clipped through her arms every time they were raised above an A-pose. Skirt was a complete mess and clipping through her legs 90% of the time. Lots of painted on features of her outfit that they didn't bother modeling physics for (dress straps, sleeves, veil). In the 4 years before this, I think the only improvement they ever made was slightly better hair physics, the hair was even stiffer around her Ready Steady performance with Suzy. With this update, they obviously fixed the obvious things she pointed out to them, but the work still comes off as kind of lazy because a lot of the detailing issues still exist.
