I think this question actually helps define what V-Tubers are and why the trend exists. Let's say you have a guy who isn't just pretending to be a cute girl but legitimately acts, looks, and sounds like a cute girl, without voice changer.

Now the main issue I've thought of, up until this point, is that it could make offline colabs odd or make the women around him feel more reserved. But let's say it's not some buff guy or masculine looking dude, like this guy in the op.

Depends on how he's presenting himself, and what their affiliation is.
Are we talking about pretending to be a girl and joining a girl only group, like, say, Hololive? That sets a bad precedent that makes people lose trust in the group, which is undesirable.
If it's an indie, anything goes, as long as he's entertaining enough.

There's an amount of people here who come for something akin to gfe.
