Vtuber companies are following the same trajectory as live-service or gacha games. Every idiot sees the one or two successful examples, overestimates how successful they are, thinks they can do it too, and burns their money on a project that never had a chance.
The market is oversaturated by several orders of magnitude, and the usefulness of a corpo at all in the modern vtubing landscape is lower than it has ever been. Anyone dumb enough to start a NEW vtuber company now is going to be even more incompetent at running it than what we have seen so far.
