the problem with Zhonkbot is twofolded;
First, It adds a 5s global delay for every coin you trade. If you want to trade 20 coins that's a 100s delay or a little over a minute and a half before it even starts trading.
Second, It adds a 5s delay to all coins every cycle so every 12 cycles you lose an entire minute.
That means over the course of a day, ignoring your initial loss, you lose 12 out of 144 potential cycles.
Spreadsheet traders are getting 144/144 but site traders are only getting like 130/144.

A few questions/suggestions while the thread is slow:
With regards to the api spam for large requests, would a cdn like cloudflare be a possible mitigation?
getStats: this appears to update about once a day, good candidate to cache?
leaderboard: server generates one every 10mins to be cached by the cdn? with the trading cooldowns there's only that much that could happen in 10 mins
History: A little more complicated but doable:
Segment the logs into say, hourly or 10min blocks
complete blocks are archived, saved as static pages, cached to cdn.
A getHistory request gets the current incomplete block + an array of links to past complete blocks
(Not saying it is right to spam requests, but these suggestions should lower server load across the board)

getStats is already rate limited to 5 a day
everything else you mentioned, including stats, is updated through the websocket. If you use the websocket, you're no bog on the server other than the buy/sell you send.

I'm aware of websocket updating, i'm suggesting technical solutions to coexist with non-ws sheets, gameplay/community/moral discussion aside.
Rate limiting is a solution, albeit less than ideal and not applicable to things like history.

correct but not what i'm getting at, a cdn isn't going to help if they spam buy/sell coins, that I agree.
I'm not after the ddos protection aspect, but using it as a Content Delivery Network, selecting responses that are static, the same across multiple clients, caching it to cloudflare so when they are requested the server either doesn't have to deal with the response at all, or just return a HTTP304 (not modified), and have the CDN handle the response instead.
Idea inspired by the fact dev notes the bottleneck is I/O, thus solutions to reduce the server having to read and upload large chunks of data to multiple clients.
(This only works for static content, data that is the same for all users and does not constantly update, hence the need to "archive" history blocks. Will not work for dynamic, per user content, such as wallets / transaction requests)

Yes and no. If a coin gets bought so hard that it is now above the point where it would have "gone up" to, instead of adjusting up, it will "crab". Nothing happens at adjustment. All of the values below are completely hypothetical.

You're misunderstanding the "overbought" mechanic. A coin can still be overbought. If a coin is meant to adjust up and people overbuy it, a crab will happen. The old mechanic would have caused it to bog down. Generally, good views and good subs means adjusting up. Sometimes, low views can be offset by good subticks and vice-versa. Performance is also compared to an extent with all holos. For example, marine may have had 2 mil views yesterday but only 1.5m today and she could still adjust up because 1.5m is crazy compared to normal numbers or if she is oversold.

Also, depending on how poor you are, and I don't mean that disparagingly at all, you would be well advised to just buy HARD into any major dips.
When I was sub-Lambo and honestly even sub-yacht, I almost never kept more than 10-20% liquid. It makes far more sense to dump everything into big dips, or in preparation for a "verifiable" good day like a 3D live or birthday or something. MPP is an even bigger meme when you can't actually afford to buy ~100 of a coin.

Yeah, I won't doxx myself yet but im in the range of 25M and 15M so selling at the peak is becoming a problem, specially since EN2 helped me make a big jump and going from relatively poorfag that can't buy anything but dips to having millions in the bank is quite confusing as far as play style is concerned, knowing adjustment prices would help me sell when stuff is going to crab or buy when it's not near its real price, or I could just play divs just like many people seem to do

There was a market volatility update a while back to keep coins from moving at literal 3-cent changes once they hit 10k share volume. When it initially rolled out, low-volume coins were VERY volatile. I had a majority share in Iofi at the time and it was possible for me personally to tank the coin from 1.8k (where she was at the time) to 500 just by liquidating about 200 shares. Of course, if people see that shit happening they'd just buy in and the price would stabilize anyway, but it's Iofi: it's entirely possible people would not have noticed until the price was down 500~1000. They've updated it again since and now stuff is volatile but not THAT volatile. You'd have to get some big shareholders on board to move a coin. The Haatons can't even exert that much direct pressure, and they're cheating from a Discord.

I still am having fun. You get used to it a bit and it did turn into a daily thing you just do, something would miss without it, couldn't tell if the climb was a thrill because I literally crabbed in 40-60 from April to today.
The simple fact you have all the data you need to do some sophisticated guesses is enough to make it much more fun than actual work, and I like watching numbers do things. I do see some things which might turn off newer players from attempting to climb the leaderboard, but that's just the nature of the market really. I also voice them at least once a week so you most likely already have read them.
I am way too invested to quit as long as the server runs, might have to miss some adjustments due to company pulling us back into the office but I think I have a smartphone setup there to at least catch some cycles.

I've been in both indies and in AAA studios and I can say with near 100% confidence that it's really down to communicating with the community, and obviously having your own brain. Even a bad game can have a good community that's supportive of the devs if the devs communicate issues to the players directly and work to resolve them. hello, might I interest you into some spreadsheets.
I still remember the rush when I first tried to learn from the API calls and put together a sheet of my own to check values I believed were relevant to make decisions (those then resulted in the Haaton Analysis Sheet, I take 0 credit for this. It went like this - a skilled Haaton saw my pathetic attempt and basically took my 2 days of work and made them a really nice sheet in like 1 hour of work. I genuflected.)
Anyways, actually look at the numbers. Not every dip means this is now a good coin to buy, not every spike means the sell-off will be worth it. Once you see the numbers it really changes your world view, and I highly recommend it.
Right now is the best time, evaulate your spread, if it's anywhere around 25% you can do WAY better than this.

It didn't seem that long, but when I picked it up they were only ~200 or so episodes in. It ran for almost 15 years man. Great show, meta as fuck sometimes. You'll enjoy it if you're medium-ish versed in all the references they make, and the seiyuu take it from silver to gold.

Episode 1/2 are non-canon/anime original. They kind of set the tone of the anime, but "character progression/story" wise, they kind of dump you a dozen episodes in for an anime-original story. Meaning you will see characters that you won't see again for several episodes, as they all gradually get introduced in the story. They aren't BAD - but I don't think I have ever re-watched them.
Also, it felt like a drag for the first dozen or so episodes, at least to me, but once it hits its stride, it does not stop.
There is no need to "skip filler" for this show either. The anime staff were fucking amazing, and some of my favorite episodes were actually filler. There's also only 20 or so filler episodes, and 1/2 might be the weakest.
