Hello anons, I'd like to approach you all with some stuff related to the VTL.

First and foremost, we won some awards! We won "Match of the Tournament" against /haha/ and "Most Exciting Team" much to the annoyance of some. Voting was done internally by all the managers of the event, so it's nice to know that even in defeat we made one hell of an impact. We also came close to winning "Team of the Tournament" and "Underdog of the Tournament", which both went to /choc/. Congrats to them.

Which leads me to my next point. As some of you might be aware, I didn't have the best of time behind the scenes and given my current sentiments towards it all, I wouldn't be incline to enter the team again. However I am not one to get in the way of fun and deny the chance for someone else to carry on leading the team forward.

Enter the VTL Academy! In essence, you learn in a safe and controlled environment the basics. How to organise a team, what the sliders and other data does, how to prepare exports etc. Unlike me, who had to rush everything together without any of that to purge us of the dragoon. Which again, amusing I was able to get us 5th with all of those hurdles.

You'd need my approval to mess around with the team data, plus have to install the game etc. So this isn't a simple task of saying yes. Please read the link below if you are curious.

I feel like what's missing in nijien right now is one person that is outgoing very open to collab and is active on doing things with everyone while maintaining their own brand and image that could bring everyone together. I'm rewatching some old vods and the feeling on how spontaneous they were on making collabs and just having a good time is not as present now. The thread back then didn't like it but i actually loved it when they did it because it gave me a feeling of closeness with every members and i also had the opportunity to be exposed with other livers that i didn't get to actually enjoy by myself because of time constraint or because they streamed when im asleep/busy. But honestly it's because i love nijien and seeing them all interact with one and another just fills me with joy and love for them. I know they're busy right now and with 3D that is finally open to them they got even more things to do or that they have different personality with how many they are now and because of that they don't have time to make big collabs or just sitting in vc while someone stream some games and talking about random things. The rare times they do happen like with vanta elden ring totsu or even the crab game after-party with the jps i just get reminded of this and it's also on those times that the thread gets united talking about the same things because we're here for that. Things change and it is what it is but it's also fun to get to see them together and it makes me happy that is all.
