CGDCT content is what makes HoloEN unique in the western market and it's questionable whether more fanservice would even make that much of a difference. Maybe it does bring in more coomers which explains why they have at least one sleazy coomerbait design in every Hololive gen but there is so many lewd vtubers in the western market that I think it's less relevant than in the JP market. Kronii actually proved that unicorn pandering is more important for selling merch and that is likely the hidden reason that EN management has temporarily stopped pushing for HoloPro unity. Yagoo hates unicorn pandering and management hates unicorn pandering but they all care about merch sales. Cover also wants to expand the casual fan base and get more sponsorship deals in the western market.

The western market is very little actually (compared to the JP one) because the CGDCT and idol culture are very niche here, I like it, they should remain like this forever, but if we are talking big bucks then they need to cater to the normie audience, that is massive, and the western normie audience LOVES drama, stupid soap-opera kind of drama (altho that market is already filled by fleshtubers)

CGDCT is a niche of a few million potential viewers but there is almost no competition in the western vtuber market. I think even management eventually realized that and the EN project manager even posted that fans want "more CGDCT".
