On a serious note, let's face it. Tiktok is way more popular and has more users than Youtube in Indonesia.
Raden (holo jp, not javanese blue bloods) gets a popularity boost recently after she made a popular meme on Tiktok, and that's only from JP Tiktok. ID Tiktok is the biggest in the world (beside Douyin) and more generally used by all ages, not just dominated by gen z like in JP.

It would be cancerous to most existing vtuber fans, but if ID vtubers instead focusing on tiktok, they could be way more popular than if they stream on yt if they can constantly hit the FYP.
Let's face it, ID market is different. Current vtubing model is based on JP and EN online culture, which doesn't make any sense for poorer but potentially huge market like ID with low English proficiency and less westernized society.
Here's hoping for an agency or vtuber in the future who can be innovative and feels very different than standard JP business model.
