Oh yeah it's Thursday.

Weather on Loreli Isle has two seasons: wet and dry season. Wet season is when most of the rains come. That's when the rock-eater fungus and rock palms flourish. Wet season is the ideal time to harvest grass, bamboo, rattan, and fruits from the orchards for canning and processing. The dodos migrate to the orchards to feast on fruits and rock palm coconuts.

Dry season is the opposite. It's when there's very little rainfall. The silty sandy soil turns dusty making it hard for grazing and foraging. So in this season the dodos migrate to the tide pools to go fishing. This is also a dangerous time as sea hawks, sharks, and sometimes sea bears will hunt dodos on the rocks. Dry season is when fishing and potting fish is done. As the cooler tides bring in feasts like salmon, tuna, snapper, and marlin. Also during dry season smoking fish is essential to preserving them before the wet season as rains make it difficult to cook outside.

Harvesting fruit and reeds is done during wet season and fishing is done during dry season.

I'd like to formally request this territory for /pcgen3k/. I noticed that this bit in the top right looks like a cow's head, this'll be perfect for the Moojisans. Note that a small chunk is bitten out of /pcg/, I think that taller bit would be a nice place for Saya's volcano. (Daily reminder that volcanos are mandatory in worldbuilding).

The southern part of pcgen3k is home to a cluster of active volcanoes. Those are shield-type volcanoes, with wide, gentle slopes and a tendency to erupt frequently, but less explosively. Many smoke for long periods, making ashfall a somewhat common meteorological phenomenon in the region. These parts of the country are home to the largest populations of Ohmies and Sayamanders in the country.

It's the youngest in an increasingly long line of phase threads, dedicated to Phase Euphoria and Kaleido! They're the two latest gens of the company. It's not the biggest, but I find it very comfy and pleasant, and the fairly even split of EN and JP fans gives it an interesting culture.
The thread started out as a gen3 thread, then I guess it was kind of a runie thread for a bit, but it started staying up consistently around when Kaleido joined and it rebranded to pcgen3k (Phase Connect Generation3 and Kaleido).

I was researching volcanic lightning and apparently there's such a thing as volcanic fulgurite. Basically, when you have lightning inside the ash cloud of an eruption, if the ash and debris in the cloud is dense enough, it can be fused into pebbles of fulgurite by the lightning strikes, and then it rains back down! I think I'm going to use that somehow for the /pcgen3k/ volcanism.
I remember you have fulgurite in your lore so I thought you'd find this cool.
