Considering the quality differences in Ina's buds vs most of the rest of Council, well I'd say she knows what she's doing. Your random Western indie is frequently going to be some fair-weather trend follower who knows little to nothing concrete about Japanese media and is just trying to get more money and it shows hard in the other recruits. Hakos is the only other one that actually feels pretty solid and happens to not be a fucking dumbass in opsec so gets my respect despite the zoomer tendencies. Jury is out on Mumei still.

Especially if Mumei turns out to not be sh*chi then really the only real clear problem hire in Council is Ceres.. why did they pick that one. Sure she has a cute voice but damn that is yab baggage following. Consider NijiEN got 6 talents through that all have better opsec so as to not fucking blow it instantly vs Ceres, that just seems like a really questionable one. Maybe it was more like her old indie "friend(s)" got so jealous they mustered everything they could to fuck her over on debut day, could have been premiditated as some of that stuff was pretty carefully searched out it seemed, so perhaps Cover was blindsided there.

If they were, they should learn something else fast that the Western indies 2views scene is full of extreme cutthroat shenanigans and because there are so little avenues for success outside Holo/Niji that they odds of nuclear drama only go up with time.
