In a vacuum it's not surprising that she wanted to collab with Tempus, given that she was a genuine JP Stars fan (especially Shien) and had more or less abandoned the gachi pandering by early 2021. But the way she did it was just weird and made it come off like she not only didn't really want to do the collabs but also wanted to spite her fans. The "improve yourself" marshmallow and the Altare duet both came before she officially announced her Worms collab, and then after that she did a couple more collabs (one of which was filling in for Kronii), before never collabing with them again, and now that Vesper and Magni are gone it's kind of moot.

I will say that it fit into a general pattern of Ame never being comfortable with people actually liking her and seeing her as their oshi, something that's also explained why she hasn't consistently streamed in almost two years, and why she's pretty much stopped doing interesting creative stuff (much of which, granted, was made redundant when Myth got actual 3D) I'd guess the only things keeping her in Hololive are Gura and her family issues requiring her to have a job that's both stable and lucrative.
