Why do you want to join Hololive, applicants? This is not me trying to talk you out of anything, I simply want you to soberly ask yourself why it is you are applying to join Hololive. If you were accepted, are you concerned about the many restrictions and expectations that you will be expected to uphold? Are you prepared for the responsibility of being a Class-A entertainer to potentially hundreds of thousands of people? Why are you trying to go with Hololive instead of any other group, or instead of being independent? Please answer honestly for my sake and yours.

I have not applied (yet) but the biggest benefit to Hololive if you were already streaming/want to be a vtuber is simply just getting a guaranteed following (and with that income).

The biggest thing that sucks about Hololive is the game permissions though. It really limits freedom. I am a big fan of Resident Evil but that would never be an option to play simply because Capcom is being an ass. Indies do not have this problem but they have to do all the marketing themselves and it's hard to get noticed I feel.

You gotta understand, most of the people applying don't have things like friends they have to sever ties with or boyfriends/girlfriends they have to break up with. Or social media accounts they would have to blacken and disable.
It would literally not change the vast majority of people's lives here but would get them all of the attention. Most don't understand that is also why Hololive isn't going to accept them, either.
