Ignoring OP for a bit, I did have a question about something Aqu-tan said during the stream.
When she as asked "What is Hololive t o you?" she answered "Ibasho", aka "The place I belong". Now, that made me mkae a double take, because she says it's the place where she belongs and yet she's leaving. Was her response here a lie, or did she mean that it was the place where she belonged but not anymore? With the way she announced her graduation and the clip about higher powers, we can assume she meant the latter, but she didn't use past tense, but present.
If she thinks she belongs in Hololive why is she leaving?

Even *if* she isn't reincarnating, it would still be the end of her "Aqua" chapter. Well, since she's leaving, and especially with the difference in directions sited as the graduation reason, she isn't able to express herself freely in Hololive, so this meaning doesn't really apply either. Unless, again, she's referring to something that used to be the case but changed.

This I can understand, especially in cases when there's war going on like Ukraine and the Middle East, but in this case I'm not sure I'd agree. If she loves Hololive and doesn't want it to change, the best way to do that would be from the inside. That said, although Aqua plays a dumb character, she's been in the industry for years and has a lot of sway both inside and outside Hololive, so I trust that she would have made an effort to keep Hololive the way she'd prefer. Tying this with the higher powers comment, we can assume that their differences were truly irreconcilable that she's forced to leave. In that case, Hololive isn't her ibasho now, and if other Holomembers share similar sentiments to Aqua, this event paints a truly grim picture about Hololive's future. Even still, if it were me, I'd have stayed in Hololive and, unless something major happened, I'd do what I could from within until I graduate, but I guess her aspirations are different.
I don't want to doompost, since my oshi still seems happy in Hololive and her career is only developing more and more, but this is a huge red flag.
