I've tried Nasa, Remi, and Michiru coffees so far.
Nasa roast is very pleasant and easy to drink dark roast, most of the talents who have tried them all for content have said hers is the best.
I wasn't really partial to the Remi roast, which is a blend. Something about the texture put me off.
Michiru roast is also a blend but it's decent. It has a nice smell.
They're all overpriced obviously but part of that overprice goes to the talents so that's fine by me.

Phase coffee is beans. I bought preground coffee before but now that I have a grinder I might switch to buying beans normally, it's supposedly better but that might just be coffee autism. I haven't tried a taste comparison or anything like that.

I've tried 4 of the coffees (Nasa, Erina, Clara, Jelly).

Anyone that tells you they're dark roasts is lying, they're all acidic light roasts from SEAmonkey beans.
Obviously it comes down to personnel preference, but I don't like fruity sour lights.

Of the 4, Claras' is the best and has a smooth albeit weaker flavour. I brew the coffee's in multiple ways in order to make sure I have the full range of results.

Perhaps I will find one which I like straight away, and doesn't require re-roasting. I have another 5 unopened bags of various other girls.

After reroasting at 200c for 10-12 minutes it's decent.

How much coffee do you fucking drink? That shit is def going stale before you get around to it. Really the only option is to get a subscription that's shipped the next day after roasting. I've consistently noticed a dramatic decline in flavor of the beans after about a month. But then, I mostly enjoy light roasts and the sweeter notes, so darker roasts might not suffer as much.

That's not true at all. I do sometimes drink coffee despite my immediate urges to go and shit, and I've tasted plenty of different coffee, but obviously when all you buy is instant coffee Nescafe, they will taste the same up until turning 20 years I've tasted somewhat the same coffee too.
I really like Vietnamese "trung nguyen che phin", I'm not a coffee snob to tell you if it's objectively good or bad, but I enjoyed it plenty. It doesn't dissolve so you have to do it with french press

Experimented again with out-of-packet vs reroasting, this time in a nespresso machine (I make custom caps). Camera doesn't pick it up well but the right le natural and looks pale af irl, left is roastie.
