Indian market is HUGE, as big as the Chinese market but, unlike the zhangs, most of their population (above a certain social class) are bilingual at very least.

If you're talking about numbers, then technically it's not worth it for most people apart from Kuzuha and Hal. Hell, Kanae is getting worse numbers in these scrims than his normal Apex streams because all the attention is on Kuzuha, even when they lose early. I think most Nijis are also getting much worse Apex numbers than normal too. Someone on the team that just won the most recent match (Nagao Kei) has 700 viewers right now. There's no correlation between winning/being stronger and getting bigger numbers. It's just all popularity and Kuzuha and Hal's popularity in the Apex community dwarves other vtubers.

A couple of reasons going all the way back to her come back show. That shiw is still one of the highest viewed vtuber streams ever and it put a lot of eyes on her that normally didn't watch her. She is super entertaining and funny so a lot of those viewers stuck with her. That was the first major incline.

The second major reason for incline is that she is a collab machine. She does a ton of them and seems to work well with everybody. This exposes her to different fanbases that might not normally watch her.

The third major reason is her new model. As much as people memed about the SOUL of the old model, the new model is seriously god tier. Its the best model in Hololive and Miko is a master at manipulating it. She is the closest to being an anime character come to life in Hololive, and arguably all of vtubing.

Then of course she is just a streaming beast who keeps a consistant schedule.
