Okay... I guess I have an idea for a "girl" at /awat/. I was thinking of a lovely stocky gator girl who runs a river diner. I was thinking of those fat diner moms you used to see on Route 66 who ran the gas station diners. And since female aligators are bigger than males I think this makes sense. She often flirts with the private eye investigator who's the center of noir stories.

I don't know much about current /awat/ culture. So I won't expand more until I read more.

The results are in! Your new /vtwbg/ players for vtl7 will be: The Writer's Barely-Disguised Fetish, random joshu lore, and the lore of fictional cuisine. Unfortunately, this means we'll have to say goodbye to 45+ chapters of milautism, I WANT TO FUCK THE OPPOSUM GIRL, and Nuefag Died For Our Sins. With Nuefag leaving, this means we have an open spot for a new keeper, and none other than the assman himself Global Reboot has agreed to take up the position! Let's hope he continues to be a defensive powerhouse for /vtwbg/ this league. The other big change for this league is that teams only get 4 medals instead of 5, so stealth /meat/ thread will be stepping down as a silver and team captain. AAAAAAAND, CLEAR will be taking over for her as the new captain. Congrats to everyone who made the team or got promoted and a sad farewell to the OGs who will be leaving us.

With that out of the way, the next order of business is the stadium, audio export, and optional extras. So if anyone has opinions or suggestions regarding things like chants, goalhorns, anthems, billboards, emotes, or gametips then now's the time to shout them out!

Nice! Carrying both ice and wood with unpowered ships is pretty clever, I know that was common with wood, but I don't know if anyone actually did that with ice; you could even surround the ice with timber to naturally insulate it and help it stay colder. Good idea.
The idea of a society obsessed with digging to find a hint of their gods is very dwarf-like, I like it. Also, it sounds like Deadbeats would be pretty comfy in Motag.

Over the last couple of months now there was a resurgence of "we should have a permanent /uuu/ on the catalog" sentiments and baking attempts. Personal opinions aside, I've been waiting for the dust to settle to write about it.

So who are the farm dodos?

The farm dodos are the experiment group for the dodo domesticated project. They're the dodos who are not so adverse to human activity. The dodos still forage and hunt in the wild. However these dodos became quite fond of the strange foods humans eat and the security humans provide against natural and invasive predators. These dodos adapted to the farms better than the towns because farms are much more quiet and peaceful. Loreli does not have industrial farms. So the noise is much lower. The farmers are fond of watching dodos pull off their silly antics when they play. The discovery of dodo playtime is huge news. As playtime is a behavior never before seen in wild dodos in nature. So seeing dodos play on the farm gives us insight into the type of environments dodos feel comfortable in.

That never really seemed to be the driving factor. Despite how popular Fauna is with the number-adjacent threads, the general consensus within /uuu/ is usually that we're pretty happy with Fauna being right where she is. Too much bigger and we might fall into gura territory, too much of a drop and Fauna or management might start to cause deviations in standard programming (forced collabs, FOTM games, etc).
The "perma-/uuu/" faction seems to be largely backed by:
Assuming honest intentions:
- Saplings wanting a permanent home
- Wanting to discuss Fauna during off-hours (tweets, mentions in other streams, holo-news and how it might impact her, etc)
- Containment (this is only generously in the "honest intentions" camp since there isn't much evidence of other generals regarding saplings in general as pests)
Assuming less than honorable intentions:
- "Brown feet generals". AKA, a perfect breeding-ground for anti-posting
- rrat threads. Some anons really just want to wildly speculate about PLs, roommates, etc
- Begging. Collab-begging, content-begging, gameplay criticism (darksouls was a huge show of face for this one), etc.

Ice trade used to be very popular before refrigeration’s a thing! They used all kinds of vehicles including barges so I think something like belyanas will also work even though I don’t think they ever float them downstream IRL! Shipping ice damages ships in the long run so I feel using disposable ships to do so will solve that problem too
I think I’m making /vnug/ more and more dwarflike with every new entry which is kinda funny since one of their origins are elves. Then again I do like dwarves and the other short people so it works
I haven’t decided on how xenophobic should Motag be (even if I make /vnug/ somewhat isolationist back then when the catalog’s roasting us) but Motag’s environment’s probably quite good for deadbeats! I think I’ll base it on how the TTRPG game handles it if it’s brought up!
