Mumei's is seriously the best vtuber design I've seen in my entire life. Sure, there are others who have more impactful colors, others who look more baddass, or others who exhale pure sex.

But look at this fucking smile. Look at it!!! It is so precious, and yet so sad, so melancholic, full of suffering. This is a chick who has been through a lot, who has seen countless civilizations rise, wither and die, all thanks to the actions of her unwavering genmates, who'd rather kill the world than allow their godly concepts to go unchallenged, tainted.

But she does not hate her genmates, not even resents them - she instead just cherishes and holds all the memories and experiences she's had very close and dear to her little heart.

She never forgets them, and still she travels the world, as an indigent vagabond, a frowned upon pariah, just to make more of those memories, knowing full well that these people too will one day come to an end and fade away, their existence completely gone and forgotten, or perhaps almost so, if it wasn't for this gentle lonely girl's own efforts in recollection. In a way, nobody can truly die, if mumei is there to remember them by.

Her color scheme is bland - all brown and grey, not to mention having a fucking plastic bag taken as her best friend, which gives her all this air of pity, of poverty and sadness to her, symbolizing all the cheer and pain she's had to go through in her path to nurture humanity, this lovable yet stupid race who keeps rehashing the same dumb mistakes over and over again, always to end into their doom.

She cannot save humankind but I'll tell you what, anons, I will. Save. Mumei.
