People might not know her as well, but ironically enough that might work in her favour. She does put off a lot of that 'protagonist energy', especially with her strangely unflappable attitude (see: horror games, her reaction to Adam in NieR Automata, her response to Aqua's rebellion in Minecraft).

She's what you'd call a very good all-rounder too, both in terms of singing, dancing and presumably acting (she has a good stage presence as well).

An average-powered lovecraftian god is STILL not above the permanent concept of "not existing anymore". A very important note in HP's setting is that the Old Ones 'are'. They're completely alien to us, and trying to understand how a god dies is like trying to understand the life cycle of stars from the perspective of a mite. But they do have a beginning and an end.

Time travel bullshit and immortality win every single fight. SSSS is not a tier but a "this is not a fight" tier.
If I had to make the list again I'd have to put in Watame in S+++ too since she LITERALLY cannot lose a fight. If you keep killing her you'll die and rot away before she stops existing, she'll just respawn.
My original post went with Kiara in S+ because of this. If regular Kiara is an actually immortal warrior that cant lose a fight, Kiara without the limiters should be a tier higher. If you're using different, stricter rules for what a fight is (you lose if you die even if you can revive) then Kiara is mid-S and Ame is in C. This was already considered when making the tierlist, that's why several people have more than one entry if they have more than one canonical form with very different powerlevel.
I dont know how there's so many posts saying Ame without time travel should go on C when "Ame without time travel" already is on C.

A friendly reminder from a longtime tabletop GM that the ability to respawn/self-revive does not itself confer any real power. Physical limitations are still very much a problem. Even Death can be a problem if there's a timer associated with your revival, since that gives the opportunity for people to act without your interference. Can't count the number of players I've fucked over with even so much as a minute to act without them around. 8 Seconds is a tight window, but you can still do a lot in 8 seconds, and Kiara's revival time is higher.

What I'm trying to say is that maybe the tier list should be less Death Battle and more Mahou Shojou. Usefulness and General Application of Abilities is very important for power rankings. A lot of the "stronger" Holos have powers that are either really useful in a fight or not at all useful in a fight, with few having a powerset that can cover both (Aki and Choco are the only ones I can think of that would fill both). I won't get into Ame because arguing about Time Travel's combat applications is extremely difficult believe me, I've had hours of session-derailing arguments over so much as stopping time for 3 seconds, but context outside of just fighting should be considered on par with fighting.
