Not really, personally don't really see the point. The default 20 minutes in the future Tokyo vtuber setting is already pretty suited for SoL so a shift to a setting that's even more lacking in conflict (both in intent and by nature) seems pointless.

Give me some credit here, I could do that by 2026, probably. I already started bringing the concept of scents in a mating sense with Botan, and Polka huffs a part of Anon that isn't exactly like smell, but she's taken a few long breaths in of him. They're basically imprinted on each other at this point, so she can probably hone into on his smell pretty easily.
I do have a scenario planned later with Chloe that explores while she and Anon stink to high heaven, he finds the aroma irresistible in the moment. Post nut clarity for both of them demands a wash up ASAP, which will just lead to more nutting.

Often, while fleshing out topics like these, I remind myself that ultimately, this is a fanfiction general, and not my personal writing general.

Some people are just awful and they don't know it. Maybe there's trauma afoot, maybe it's just their nature, but there's only so much you can do with the OCs before the fic shifts away from its original direction or turns into an expository infodump.

I dont think anyone would oppose to more fleshed out characters in fics and complex narratives, but at the end of the day people here do this for a hobbie, not to publish a work or something, so rather than refine a chapter for a year some of us cut the fat as much as we can while also going "welp, that chunk of meat its gone, shame"

Well your use of body language and how you describe expressions is pretty alright. Ayame is rightly eager in this scenario, which you do a good job in expressing, but there's just one small, teeny tiny detail that flips this entire story on it's head.

Yeah, the treatment of any potential story can be both pro-homobeggar and pro-unicorn and poke fun at both sides while still telling a decent story (Charles and Cromwell both have sympathetic traits). If a straight-up HoloEngland Civil War is too autistic, a potential framing device could be the Holos finding themselves having to shoot a HoloGra adaptation of the Civil War, with none of the chuubas knowing what the hell it is actually about. Considering HoloGra, I wouldn't put it past its writers to actually do something like that

Both men were loving family men, devout Protestants (though Charles' wife was Catholic - part of the reasons the Puritans were wary of him), and very personable and charismatic (though Charles less so - he had a speech impediment).
The real difference between them was that while Cromwell still wanted the King to rule England (with the consent of Parliament), Charles wanted to continue ruling without Parliament at all (being a firm believer in the Divine Right of Kings).
As for where to start, you could do a small-scale one shot, with important figures like Goob and Yagoo as background characters and show how the civil war has torn individual gens apart.
