Apparently this new vtuber is launching and she's also apparently an exit scam enthusiast/has her own shitcoin. So now I can possibly lose all my money to open scams instead of just losing money by simping for animated youtube personalities.

How does this scam work? You give them money that is converted into their made up money? How does this benefit them?

A large portion of tokens are kept by the owners or given out to people who build up the hype. It goes on sale publicly, people buy, price of the coin rises as there's demand, all the people already holding tokens sell on mass. Coin becomes worthless.

You essentially steal all the money your followers put into the coin and leave them holding worthless junk. Real scummy.
