No matter what happens tonight, I'm a teamate for life. I know no real teamates will abandon her.

It would be cool if Ame graduated and took her Twitch fanbase of ironic weebs with her.

I'm guessing that people are speculating that the next EN2 video will be a formal announcement and the fear is that fans will abandon EN1 for them.

despite faggot OP that’s a genuine concern. I was skeptical with irys at first but came to like her. Irys is just one chuuba though. a new gen with five others will almost certainly guarantee streams over one another, less overall average (live) viewers and probably not solely for EN1, and five more fanbases to shit up the entire board. it will also test just how loyal myth’s fanbase really is. arguments against this can draw back on jp, what with chuubas like marine and peko still being massively popular, but who knows.

The hope is that EN2 expands the fanbase instead of cannibalizing from Hololive's existing one. That's one of the reasons why I didn't really want Hololive to take indie vtubers or vtubers from smaller companies because that would just be a case of moving the chairs around since most english vtubers outside of maybe Vshojo essentially borrow their audience from Hololive.

Irys seems to have brought in more new views than cannibalizing other holos, other than one of the main paypigs most of the audience comes from notIrys. Best case for EN2 is they hire actual good gamers to grab some western esports fans since apex is a hit in japan

Her viewership is already fading, EN2 will be the final nail in the coffin and she will be right up there with Mel, Aki, and Choco as the blondes that no one gives a shit about

Keep moving the goalpost, her relevance is as stable as the relevance of other EN girls

Does Ina have a lot of GFE fans or something? I don't want to be mean but her slow, ESL, quiet attitude to streaming usually doesn't lead to high views.

New gens are going to mostly pull from those who stopped watching streams regularly. These people know hololive exist but are probably old fans who got bored.

OP here, to clarify--I don't care if Ame loses viewership from tourists and casuals. As long as the true teamates stay, and they will, all will be fine.
