The "small-scale stuff" actually goes against the terms of the license, but I suppose it's a matter of his personal preference. The license prohibits any merchandizing, at any scale, without prior approval. Presumably he just allows minor merchandizing unrelated to companies. (On a side note, this makes Filian's comment about allowing others to make merch of her model non-problematic since, according to Jingo, such small-scale production is allowed.)

This is simply not true. The license does not make a difference between independent and otherwise affiliated VTubers in terms of usage restrictions. While this does matter in terms of merchandizing--i.e., Jingo would disallow any merchandize made of a VTuber using the model if the merchandizing is done through a company or the VTuber is affiliated--it does not prevent someone from using the model for VTuber activities if the VTuber is affiliated.

This is what is known as a "skill issue". Jingo could quite easily hire a lawyer to draft a license agreement that would avoid this problem. Truly despicable.

Yeah, the licenses very clearly looked like they were made by picking-and-choosing from a pre-generated selection. However, when you make a license you have to abide by it, and the license Jingo made (by choosing that option) is that attribution is requested, but not required. He could change it, but this wouldn't matter to people who already have a license (like Filian), unless the license allows for it. (He also can't terminate the license, like some people on Twitter think that he can or has already.)

Yes, it is. Because the license declares that all merchandising must be done through contact with the creator. If, after doing so, he declines your corporate merchandise, that is within the license's terms.
In layman's terms, the license is literally "ask me first." It does not need to state specific approvals within the license because the approvals are done case-by-case at the artist's discretion.

His Tweet response makes it out that the license prohibits any contacts with a corporation in any context--at least, that was how I read it. _That_ restriction is neither present in the license nor a matter of discretion. Merchandizing is, as I have already said, a matter of discretion, which discretion he has exercised.

Though it seems it should be possible to sell Filian the merchandise rights, without giving her other rights, so she couldn't stop anyone from using it, though Filian could be demanding those rights too, or Jingo has simply decided it's too much of a headache, as she's already alluded to.

Section 7.U permits to creation of doujin works, which would include small-scale fan merch under its traditional definition. To the extent that this contradicts the prohibition on physical goods, he's clarifying what's allowed here.

Despite it's erratic path after lunch, Anycolor failed to even peek the green as they close out at 2522 yen (-19) for the first day of the week. A grim first impression for the week overall as the stock struggles to show signs of good health, as they're now 342 yen away from the peak of the buyback.

COVER DROWNS HARDER? I GUESS?

Anycolor isn't doing too bad compared to their competition however, as Cover closes out at a disappointing 1973 yen (-55) for today. An even worst start to the week as they once again drop out of the 2000s.

The NIKKEI fails to capitalize on it's positivity earlier, as it ends on a 0.32% loss to close us out.
