Pippa made Phase Connect a relevant name in the vtubing industry all by herself while being completely unstable and having terrible dealings with management in the beginnings. If you follow this from year 1 it's almost unbelievable. Phase Connect was (some argue still is) looking like a complete fucking joke and Pippa looked like she could quit at any point. Hiring and keeping her seemed like a crazy gamble only an incompetent or desperate person would make.
Nobody could predict that she would find that level of success and Phase would actually thrive, while a more popular company like Tsunderia would just die out.
The issue is that ironically the bizarre style of Phase management was vital to Pippa's success. In other corps, she would have been shut the fuck down way too soon and she would have left. It almost happened in Phase and she even started streaming back to her PL regularly at some point.
