HoloEN live numbers seem to be reclining. Is there a good explanation for this phenomenon?

Compared to JP and ID. Its less focused on a single time zone and more spread out since its accessible to other audiences.

and then there is time zones being a thing compared to Pekora's singular time zone

There was an actually noticeable drop ever since superchats aren't accessible anymore.
My current theory is that this also removes them from the algorithm

Ina is objectively the only good one

The hope was never that they were going to be as big as Pewdiepie but that this would eventually grow larger than Youtube and enmesh itself into Society as a whole. Can't never have nothing nice in this world...

This, combined with slow walking everything. Management took things far too slowly and handled their success incompetently. I say this because I feel that Cover doesn't know how to manage their overseas branches. Though part of the issue could even be with the talents.

While I watched Hololive, I just felt that they were incredibly cliquey. Gamers and even some generations just don't interact too much with each other and this stiffles any large scale in company events. There is just not much Cover can do in my opinion with the personalities in their employment.

I don't hate anyone in Hololive, besides holding Kiara slightly lower for allowing her ascended fangirl status to completely ruin her.

pekora and miko have done about 3 times as many streams as gura

When playing minecraft or mario kart, they plan in advance how they will play and attract over 20k viewers

If you're just using Minecraft as a chat tool or playing Mario 64 aimlessly, you might lose to Niji EN one day

it's possible but it'll take time. Mr. Beast will eventually beat pewdiepie in subs which shows that its a possibility a chuuba somehow loved by the algorithm (like gura) could eventually take the top spot

Big numbers and constant growth aren't what vtubers are about, I personally don't care that numbers decline, most if my favorite vtubers have low sub counts anyway, and thinking that they aren't good because of that is stupid.

Everyone in EN, especially Gura, fluctuates massively in viewership (Ina being the only exception to this as far as core audience goes). The most successful JPs generally stay within a range of viewership regardless of what time slot, what game their playing, and who else is streaming. Making your fanbase out of tourists means having to deal with these fluctuations in numbers.
