I think it basically works out as
Skibidi 1 = 4
Skibidi 10 = 12
Skibidi 20 = 21

The early levels got a sizable buff, mid levels got a small buff, late levels are largely unchanged minus max level which got a sizable buff; sizable enough that at level 20 you're effectively dealing with enemy stat multpliers which are lower than the highest pre-DLC areas. Not really, but the linear scaling was problematic because it means the bosses were balanced around the assumption that you were going to explore everything that you could and approach bosses in a "correct" order which is a fucking retarded way to attempt to balance an open world game that gives you a lot of freedom.

The dude drawing aggro can give you more dps windows like basically any other buddy, especially if the boss decides to aim a big slow ranged move while you're already next to him instead of the usual "get off my ass" fire.

Well, I think the main issue is the size / density of stuff here.
If it was smaller, you wouldnt really need the horse and you would also have more of the actual stealth / spooky stuff.
And then the actual dungeon here doesnt really incorporate madness well, no clue why the mansion isnt bigger with a stealth section. But it is what it is.

the thing I like most about his that he was supposed to die, and gave up being Lord of Frenzied Flame long ago. He literally has to sacrifice the last of his existence (ripping out his head) to use the very last of his power.
He's not meant to be strong, he's just different compared to every other boss. This guy is OLD old, and I think it's so cool that they managed to squeeze in lore to allow you to see the previous Lord of Frenzied Flame.
