It depends on the game and on the streamer, but yes, I usually voice act every line unless it's something extremely unimportant (such as random village NPC lines, though those can be funny sometimes).
If you don't speak while reading their lines, and it's hard to speak in an action JRPG while focusing on the fighting so you might not do that either, what talking is left for you to do? Reacting to voiced cutscenes, I guess?
Though eventually you should get good enough at half-looking at the screen and half-looking at chat, so you can make things work.

Alright so I've had some pretty decent success as a male and as a genuine help to those getting started or or other males in a rut here's what you can do to improve
>Do something other than just playing through your backlog
Look, streaming takes up time and I get that but if you're just playing some game you kind of had interested in and was some middle of the road popularity back when it was released in 2009 then no one is going to suddenly care about it now. Retro is fine, obscure will keep you obscure. Play games that have communities still talking about them, play flavor of the month. More importantly as males we don't get a free pass for just being a woman from lonely men, if you want to stand out do something once or twice a month that isn't just playing games, this doesn't have to be on stream either you just need something else and it's a sad fact of the double standard

If you have at least 2 people it is socially acceptable for you to raid any channel, twitch gives people the option to block lower sized raids so if a person gets weirded out by your small raid then they're the ones acting out of line. Every streamer needs viewers and sticking to just small aspies because you're small also is going to keep you going in circles. I know it sucks you need to be a bit social after raiding considering you just streamed if you want to be remembered by the streamer, say hello, ask how their stream is going, and if you really can't stick around then thank them for streaming and peace out respectfully
>Have your chat visible and be ready to respond
Look, I get it, you stream 4 days in a row with no chatters and then suddenly someone comes in and says hi, well guess what if you do take more than a half minute to respond they probably aren't going to stick around, or be engaged in conversation. Alright here's a crazy thing, I want you to look at your twitter, look at your tweets, and check the average number of views. You know why your numbers are REALLY so low? It's because you haven't been picked up by the algorithm, that's it, that's all it is. Until you get cancelled or flogged publicly the reason you have no views is because you're one of millions of streams in their own little separate pools. You need to surround yourself with people who want others to see what you're doing, if they don't or you're just not gelling with them on the same level then you need to move on. You aren't being seen because truthfully you just aren't being seen.

I know crazy right, you think that would be the simplest thing but I see people constantly announcing their current view count on stream. Stop it. Read the above part. Your numbers are low because you just don't exist yet to so many people. And when more viewers come in that isn't the time to turn it up to eleven that's the time to keep your flow, hopefully your stream preview is you when you're at your best already and that's why people clicked so just be yourself and stop worrying about the numbers
