Playing the DLC, I can see Mori getting stuck on Rellana for a long time. From really overcompensated on the problem of Malenia getting staggered easily. This bitch doesn't flinch from a jumping double two-hander to the head. That said, first phase is kind of a joke if you simply stack phys resist so it's really about learning the second one.

Only 2 in second phase. Not that either is really an instakill. I know DS and even base ER may teach you a different thing but armor actually matters here. With enough phys resist you really need to either fuck up or overextend multiple times to die in phase1. Biboo doing it naked was honestly a huge handicap on her. I don't remember last time I saw that I have 50% hp and thought "nah, not worth letting up and healing, I can take a few hits". And there's also a +3 magic resistance talisman not that far away which is very obviously supposed to be used here. It's placed similarly to the phys resist talisman before Malenia. Phase 1 also has very narrow hurtboxes on her swords, I noticed she missed me quite often when I was jumping around her. Also she's very chill with you healing next to her compared to say, Malenia who instantly charges her long range stab. Phase 2 is a lot scarier, mostly because she refuses to let up. But her big combo is really same as phase1 except it's either then prolonged to loop for a few more hits or finishes with a big magic slash. Would take Mori a lot more hits than me because her weapon has low damage compared to two jumping zweis but also she could afford to respec to have enough carry weight to use some very heavy armor to make phase1 a complete joke so that she could learn phase2 properly.

I'm not that far into the DLC so I didn't see many yet. One thing I can say for certain is that From are fucking lazy with Dragons. At least there was a necromancer one I guess... which is hardly a plus considering how bad any boss + minions fight gets and how disgusting this particular combination is.
