Today i decided to up the stakes. There is a particular combo i been struggling with since almost release. No matter what i do,i drop it in matches. I decided to even skip a few steps and i still dropped it.
Clearly i had to bring up the big guns.
As i said before, i been trying doing ice baths for inflammation but since i dont have a bathtub its just a bucket for my feet.This is a painful experience for the most part, but if you stay still eventually you make a layer of heat surrounding your body, and the cold doesnt hurt anymore. You need to move so it hurts, and you want it to hurt.
I normally do it post physical training to aid my feet muscles recover but this time i did it while practicing the combos still.
Every time i failed the combo, i deliberately moved, eliminating the heat layer, and bringing in the pain.Basically i got a cold shock every time i fucked up. Suddenly i was afraid of fucking up, and the fear itself made me perform better.

There is the issue of course that self inflicted pain is an entirely different animal than just plain pain, but when pain is self inflicted is usually also beneficial in other ways ( think of lifting) but it remains to see what are the effects

In any case i am still dropping the combo anyway but the results wont actually show after a deep rest according to usual neuroplasticity. We will see tomorrow if the pain was worth it.

Juri akuma diary last entry

30 days with Akuma doing more or less 3 hours a day, did not skip a single one.
I think i barely scratched the surface of the character since most of my time was spent learning how to do the combos, most of which I still drop.
However I can say this even so, it was pretty fun. I used to thing combos were boring but I guess rhythm games are a thing for a reason. I think I might be good at OSU now after all the experience I got. Fighting games are very fun

Winning is fun
Losing and getting angry is also fun

This, but the truth is companies do actually "test the waters" with rereleases it isn't just PR bullshit. Killer Instinct for instance got a lot of new stuff in the Anniversary Edition for absolutely free if you ever owned any version in any capacity and that is because Microsoft wanted to see if enough people still gave a shit to maybe make a sequel eventually. This is just a fact of doing business whether you like it or not.

I do appreciate that KI has a free version but I feel like it would benefit more from having more then 1 free character a week like granblue does. I made it so you can now dtilt and utilt out of run, as well as do pivot ftilt by turning for one frame. You can do it even if you have flick smash attacks enabled by using the cstick or dpad.

I dunno what it is but Examu seems to like the 1v1 with assist style. They made Aquapazza too which gives you one character and an assist with about 2-3 attacks. Also one of the only games to have an actual top tier grappler who would probably give most people nightmares if they played against her.
