I saw it too and agree a bit. I think it would also be better for positive reinforcement to give the winner plus points instead of giving minus points to the loser. Some fans can get really troublesome when it's their oshi losing because of that. In itself it's a good concept though. It just needs some refinement. Some participants were even a bit sad they couldn't try themselves out in it because the conditions weren't met. I think people are too quick to get upset. It was a tourney for fun and there was nothing to lose. It also was Rikka's first game tournament inviting people outside of his own box.
Overall I am glad the tourney went without much trouble.

The main criticisms of the tournament are unbalanced teams, confusion over the rules and Rikka's attitude towards the participants and way of speaking during the tournament. If even the participants were confused over the rules, what more the viewers? Rules could have been communicated more clearly and timely. Rikka always speaks casually but there are some who feel it's unprofessional when he's being the caster of the kami pov and that his wording choice lacks delicacy. I believe Rikka did his best but I hope he can take fair criticism and improve if he decides to organize another tournament.
