I was there and confirmed you can hear their voice from behind the screen, and having just watched the stream version, you can hear it from there too. On top of my head, there's Temma's closing speech. If you turned your volume up enough, you can hear him screaming "Aishiteru" right before the mic broadcasted his sound. It would have been incredibly ridiculous, convoluted and amusing to stream them from the cover studio to a venue and send footage of the audience to the boys in the studio. Big live venues in japan should have equipment and enough space to offer at least what the cover studio offers or Cover knowingly picks venues that can do that.
