I believe she doesn't change her voice at all. The difference between debut voice and today's voice is due to using a different microphone (as well as being in a different office). It's crazy how the voice changes with different equipment. On top of that, she has equalization that reduces her low frequencies, because she said that by not reducing them, something like static or an electric buzzing sound is heard. That makes her voice sound like it has a higher pitch than it does.

I understand that's the case, yes she's not physically altering her voice. I should rephrase it; I probably prefer the sound of her old microphone. It sounds like a deeper more natural voice to me (even if it actually isn't)

I might be completely wrong technically. But to my ears her older microphone actually sounded much better in terms of quality. The bass was perfect, and she sounded louder. Her mics since around december sound more dround out. The best way I can describe would be if I had wanted Ame to read an audiobook, I would ask her to use her older mic since it sounds much clear and pleasant on the ears.

I also work from home, sleep 3-4 hours before work and take a 2 hours nap after lunch (I eat in 15 minutes tops) and get back to working after that.
This biphasic sleep is probably awful for my body but I feel well rested.

We actually know what happened. There was god awful communication between the two groups. Bioware were under the impression that Sega was handling the music and sound effects and just assumed that was the case. They hand in a progress build around time for the game to go gold AND NEVER thought to check about the music and FX. Sega then ask why the fuck there isn't music or FX and Bioware now have to speed run composing music and get a bunch of shitty free FX. Making the game have some of the worst audio in the world.
Bad communication is apparently very common with Sega. Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric is the best example of that.
tl;dr version
>Sega hires BRB to make the game
>They use CryEngine assuming the game will be a PS4/Xbox/PC title
>Have a pretty nice and unique game that's more like a successor to Jak than it is a Sonic game
>Sega demand they add speed sections(not a big deal at the time but demands piled up)
>SUPER LATE into development the devs are finally told that it's a Wii U exclusive and they can't delay the game from the date Sega set
>Devs speedrun making CryEngine "work" on Wii U
>Forced to release a broken shitty version that's nothing like their original vision
>Game was so shit the studio is now all but dead
Sega's only good points are they're cool with fangames existing and have god tier composers. NEVER let them run collaborative works or things will go to shit.

From a parent's perspective, I guess buying game consoles is a worthy investment because it's a gift that lasts a long time. It's good to have standards for yourself, but it's also hard to keep those standards from hurting you when you have a legion of people ready to criticize you for underperforming.
The reason she beats herself up so hard is the same reason she's also always trying to push the envelope: She doesn't want to languish or be left behind. Ultimately, it's more of a good thing than a bad thing. Hopefully she can manage the bad parts more if she can hear all the people around the world calling her the most creative EN tuber
