Early Myth promo art shows that Amelia was the center of the group, if they expected anyone to be the front runner, it was Amelia and solely because of the lore and design, a flawed prediction they knew that was likely wrong. There wasn't really much faith in the project actually becoming massively succesful.
Of fucking course, it became a staple of the industry and kickstarted the proper start for the EN scene of chuubas. And they of course didn't expect Gura to be the face of HoloEN. And Gura most likely still doesn't like it.
Everyone could see Calli growing up numbers from a mile away after everyone realized what's up with her grind and her "fuck haters" mentality, I don't really like her but I can't really stop her so I gave up.

PROJECT HOPE was their first real flop, but IRyS wasn't so, welp, enter PROMISE.
